ALLIGATOR LIZARDS IN THE AIR

Natty Greene’s Brewing Company has completed the expansion of its brewery, which includes a new single-story structure featuring an interior brewhouse and open-air seating areas with a bar, all under a roof. This pavilion is located just south of the existing downtown Greensboro restaurant and is adjacent to the patio on land recently purchased from Norfolk Southern. The pavilion showcases new landscaping and pavers, creating a mini park in the heart of downtown Greensboro. The grand opening of the new “Beer Garden” took place on August 2nd, 2024.

“On average, we sell 600 barrels of Natty Greene’s beer a year at the restaurant. We can only produce 300 barrels on property right now” says owner Chris Lester. “This expansion will enable us to bring all of our production in-house to give us more control and be more self-sustaining.

Since opening in 2004 Natty Greene’s has continued to grow, adapt and become more integrated into the downtown and Greensboro community at large. The addition of The Beer Garden will serve to add another level of entertainment, hospitality and commitment to the success of our great city.
